David is the Provincial Practice Leader for Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery for BC Cancer, where he manages and has published journal articles on complex implant reconstruction for post-resection patients. He maintains a full-time private practice where implant reconstruction is a core scope of practice.

Mr. Schmidt’s experience in the dental industry spans nearly 30 years. He has been involved in several start-ups and has had leadership positions with the largest distributors in Canada. His involvement in bringing advancing technologies to the Canadian market is to an extent, unprecedented.
